Become a certified diver through the Deep Six Specialists, Inc. Underwater Training School.  Join the thousands of people who have already discovered the enjoyment of Scuba Diving.  Internationally recognized training taught by Deep Six Specialists, Inc. is safe, fun and rewarding.  Your training will cover three vital areas:  Academics, Pool and Open Water Scuba Dives.

Phase I of your Open Water SCUBA Diving course will involve 28 hours of educational classroom and pool activities.
Phase I
is offered in three different formats:

1.   Standard Format of 6 sessions.  Courses meet once or twice a week.

  2.   An Accelerated Format with NAUI E-learning.  Students complete on-line readings and pre-
test prior to coming to their first session.  The E-learning format does not reduce your water time.
No amount of reading and viewing videos will replace actual in water scuba skill development.
Your classroom contact hours with your NAUI Scuba Instructor will be less, but not completely
eliminated.  Personal, professional contact, will insure you learn the fundamentals of becoming
an Open Water Scuba Diver.  The Accelerated Format can meet once a week, or be compressed
into a Friday, Saturday and Sunday format.

    3.   Private Lesson Format  Having difficulty meeting one of our course dates?  You and one or
more students can setup your own course to your needs.

Phase I:  Academics & Pool  Our time tested methods give you plenty of learning flexibility.

Equipment: You will need to provide your own personal scuba quality mask, snorkel, fins and
boots.  Wetsuits are available for your pool dives. If you get cold easy, you will want to rent or
purchase your own personal tropical wetsuit. We provide scuba cylinders, air fills, regulators, air
pressure gauge, dive computer, compass and buoyancy compensators for the pool training.
