The GLHS-MAST Nautical Archaeology
Workshop will be Saturday and Sunday April 12 and 13.
Saturday April 12 is also the date of the MAST annual dinner.
MAST key
note speaker will be Brendon Baillod, who has done some amazing
research on LaSalle’s ship Le Griffon.
The Advanced Class
is for those of you who
have completed the Basic training and are looking to go a little
further into what MAST does.
The Survey Class
is for those of you who have completed the Advanced training and
really want to run a survey project. This year you will be
working with last year’s survey project on their work on the
“Jug Wreck”. During the workshop weekend, you will be working
with Jack Papes and other members of his team on the summer
schedule as well as further investigation into the identity of
the shipwreck.
